Local Youth TeamsBeach Ultimate Maniacs (aka BUMS)A new team with a balanced mix of experienced players & newbies. Maniacs love training in tough sandy & windy beach conditions, yet enjoy that laid back atmosphere that the beach provides. Our 2007 accomplishment: coming in 4th for the Beach Ultimate Tournament, pretty remarkable for a bunch of newbies. Every Sat, Siloso Beach is our meeting place, rain or shine. Our short term goal is Borocay 2008, & hopefully, World Beach Championships in future. Come down to Siloso Beach, Sentosa, 530pm, to join us for pick-up sessions, or, if you're game, come down at 3pm instead to join us for serious training! We are bunch of fun-loving undergraduates who decided that the best way to distress is to chuck discs and maybe drink beer (kidding). Do not be surprised if you hear people talking about crazy youths (even in business attire) throwing discs in the middle of town. Disc Knights was formed from a group of frisbee enthusiasts who started out playing casually at NYP. Driven by the ever growing passion for Ultimate, we decided to take things one step further and go into competitive Ultimate. We train every Sundays at Sengkang and play casually every Mondays and Wednesdays at NYP. The Muddy Grass team consists of students and young professionals, many of who have graduated recently. We welcome anyone who is enthusiastic about Ultimate and has a willing spirit to learn.
