UiTM Ultimate Open UUO 08 (Malaysia)

Lions Roar again!

Lions is the champions of the UUO 08 tournament!Lions A beat Wildcats B in the final 6-4 and was played in a muddy field and rain. The final was first postponded due to heavy rain and thunder after 11 minutes started. At the time, Lions A leading 3-0. After game started, Wildcats B get back their on the game and managed to catch up to 5-4 before Lions A score two more on the last minutes of the game. Before reached the final, Lions A also beat Wildcats A 9-5 after being lead 3-0 in first 3 minutes.Earlier in the group phase, Lions A has lose to Wildcats B 2-4.

The field was wet and muddy.All the players was dirty and wet playing in the muddy field,but it was very happening. With all the players from each team enjoying playing in the muddy field with excitement. But the games was all played well. New team that shine very well in the mud was El Ninos, win 'Pasukan Baru Harapan' awards.The game was played in 2 pool. Pool A - Wildcats A, Lions B, El Ninos & Nottingham .Pool B - Wildcats B, Lions A, Help & Friendsforever. After the group stage, all team played for Winners Pool and Loser Pool. In the Prize presentation after the final, the are some awards given to the players and team.

Most Promising Player- Reeky Kurniawan( Wildcats B)and Fatin
                      (Nottingham)
Fairplay Team        - Nottingham
Most Promising Team  - El Ninos

Champions     - Lions A
1st Runner-up - Wildcats B
2nd Runner-up - Wildcats A
3rd Runner up - El Ninos
5th Place     - Lions B
6th Place     - Nottingham
7th Place     - Help
8th Place     - Friendsforever


I would like to thanks to all the teams and people who come to support and participate in our event. Thanks for being sporting and enthusiasm in this event,it makes our event very lively. Eventhough it was muddy and rains, but you all still manage to get dirty to play. And i want to apologise if there any lack of management in the event, poor facilities and anything that can be aour weakness.

Hope all enjoying the food and hope that you all will join and support UiTM Utimate Open next time.
