SFS Ultimate Hope 2010 – Bali
 | Living up to SFS’s Mission – to Promote and Educate Ultimate Frisbee (even around Asia in the most remote places), on the 30th of March, couple of us went up to a rural school near Lovina beach, Bali and taught kids how to play Frisbee. |

SFS Ultimate 2010 and Beyond
 | As the year 2009 closes, it’s time to reflect on how the year has gone for SFS. It has been another fruitful year for SFS. As always, SFS was kept busy with conducting Frisbee Introduction Programs (FIP) at various primary and secondary schools. This year 25 schools, youth group and private organisations took up FIP with an estimated total of 3,000 students learning the basics and playing the game of Ultimate Frisbee. |

The Ultimate Future of Singapore
 | The morning of 30th May 2009 was unlike any other. Jurong West Stadium was beaming with participants who were excitedly but yet patiently waiting to test and pitch in their trained skills and techniques to the game they love the most: Ultimate Frisbee. Ultimate Frisbee is a special and unique game as it famously known for its "Spirit of the Game". Thus, the game demands respect and integrity from each player due to its self-officiating nature.

The Growth of Ultimate Frisbee in Singapore Schools from 2003 - 2008
 | It's been a great 2008. This year, 30 schools (2400 participants) took up Frisbee Introduction Program (FIP). We've got schools from primary and all the way to Junior College level. Out of 30 schools, 12 schools regularly take up the FIP for the students. The others are trying out FIP for the first time. It's been 5 years since we launched FIP, with the aim to promote game of Ultimate Frisbee in schools and the public arena.

Asian Beach Ultimate Championship 2008 (Singapore)
 | What can you expect when the beach frisbee maniacs get together over the weekend? ONE awesome weekend with lots of disc flying. 6 teams from asia came down to sentosa for the Asian Beach Ultimate Frisbee Championship. Boracay Dragon (Philipines), Goa (India), Freakshow (Singapore), BUMS (Singapore) and Loosing Daylight (All Stars). |

UiTM Ultimate Open UUO 08 (Malaysia)
 | Lions Roar again!
Lions is the champions of the UUO 08 tournament!Lions A beat Wildcats B in the final 6-4 and was played in a muddy field and rain. The final was first postponded due to heavy rain and thunder after 11 minutes started. At the time, Lions A leading 3-0. After game started, Wildcats B get back their on the game and managed to catch up to 5-4 before Lions A score two more on the last minutes of the game. Before reached the final, Lions A also beat Wildcats A 9-5 after being lead 3-0 in first 3 minutes.Earlier in the group phase, Lions A has lose to Wildcats B 2-4.

Youth Street Ultimate Frisbee Challenge 2008 – 1st Round (29th March)
 | The day began with a crowd of eager participants and organisers alike swarming the National Library’s foyer at Bras Basah Road. It marked the start of the inaugural Sports On! Youth Street Ultimate Frisbee Challenge 2008 organised by Singapore Frisbeesports (SFS) and supported by the Singapore Sports Council, National Library Board and Ultimate Players Association (Singapore) in a bid to promote Ultimate Frisbee to youths leading up to the Youth Olympics in 2010. |

Boracay Dragons remain undefeated
 | The Boracay Dragons White team successfully defended their title during the Boracay Open 2008 held last March 8-9 in Boracay Island, Aklan. The defending champions won 16-5 against the second seeded Sexual Chocolate. The race to 15 was exceeded when Jude caught a two-point bomb from Wendell to seal the victory. |

SUCCESS 2007! Hello 2008!
2007 has been a resounding success for Singapore Frisbeesports in our mission to educate and promote Ultimate Frisbee to youth in schools.
In addition to having retained our loyal FIP customers, we have also introduced the sport in many new schools. 2007’s Junior Open and various zonal tournaments also showed increasing popularity and competitiveness, with an obvious increase in skill level of youth Ultimate.

Coaching with PASSION
Here at Singapore Frisbeesports, we take what we do seriously & have fun at the same time! Here’s a quick look for all of you out there on what makes up your friendly SFS instructor that coaches you in schools.
Special Skills = Better Coaching
2002-2005: SFS head coach Uncle Ra could be found going around schools knocking on PE H.O.D doors offering Ultimate Frisbee coaching. Back then there were many good Ultimate players, but Ultimate coaches? They were far & few, & none had the passion of teaching the sport to Juniors & Youth. Something had to be done!
Out came the SFS Frisbee Introduction Program (FIP), the brainchild of Uncle Ra & Ms Siti Nuriwati. Now there was hope for the future Ultimate generation & trial-runs of FIP in schools ensued.

Beach Ultimate Tournament 2007 RECAP!
Date & Venue: 6th October 2007; Siloso Beach Sentosa
This year’s Beach Ultimate Tournament kicked off with a bang at 10am, with 12 participating teams. We were blessed with fine weather & much sun. Maybe a tad too much sun because if you were there around noon, you would have seen a funny sight. Players, finding it impossible to run any further on the scorching sand, had to resort to wearing SOCKS! Long socks, multi-colored striped socks, socks with holes….it didn’t do much for the image of the ‘ultra-cool’ beach Ultimate players but it certainly was a testimony to their competitiveness & dedication. In addition to socks, we spotted certain players (ACJC) running around in pokka-dotted ties, huge jester hats, & green shrek hairbands, showing Freakshow (their opponents) who were the REAL freaks.

Calling all Frisbee Fanatics! In September & October, temperatures will run high with not 1, not 2, but FOUR exciting Ultimate Frisbee Tournaments! Come down & witness some serious high-level Ultimate(If you're not already playing!). Easter Weekend Beach Ultimate Tourney
6th April 2007, Good Friday. Community of Praise Baptist Church together in partnership with Singapore Frisbeesports (SFS) held their annual Beach Ultimate Frisbee Tournament for Youth at Siloso Beach, Sentosa, for the second consecutive year. The event saw a wide spectrum of young people aged from 13-28, coming from various institutions and churches.

Dragging myself up early in the morning to be a volunteer photographer for an Inter-Secondary School Invitational Frisbee (ISSI’07) tournament was not exactly how I envisioned spending my Saturday morning.
However, a promise was a promise; I did wake in the end and got myself down to Sengkang where the event was held.

Having just finished FIP and Little League with a new batch of students, it certainly brought back memories with it being the first ever school that I taught in. Shuqun Sec FIP & Mini-League
Congratulations!! After 4 weeks, the first badge of 240 Secondary One participants (Class 1/1 and 1/2) from Shuqun Secondary School finally graduated from our Frisbeesports Introduction Program (FIP). Before that can happen, they had to have their “final exam” held in the form of an Inter-Class mini league The graduation ceremony was held filled with prizes, fun, laughter and encouraging speeches both from SFS and the students to each other.
